Circleback raises $2.5 million in Seed funding

Circleback, a provider of an AI-powered automated meeting notes-taking app, raised $2.5 million in seed funding.

Y Combinator, Rebel Fund, Pioneer Fund, and Transpose Platform, co-led the investment round with participation from angel investors Kulveer Taggar, Oliver Jung, JJ Fliegelman, Rich Aberman, Jason Freedman, and others.

Circleback offers an AI-powered application designed to enhance meeting productivity by automatically generating detailed notes and action items. The app integrates seamlessly with platforms like Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, and Slack huddles, as well as in-person meetings. It transcribes meetings, identifies key discussion points, and assigns tasks, ensuring that important information is captured and easily accessible.

The app also offers AI-powered search capabilities to quickly discover specific details from past meetings and seamlessly update this information into tools like CRM systems and Notion based on meeting insights.

With fresh funds, Circleback plans to expand its business operations and its app development efforts.

Circleback in February, secured early-stage venture capital funding. Prior to that, in June 2023, Circleback received $125,000 through an accelerator or incubator program. These funds have been utilized to expand the company’s operations and development efforts.
