Linker Vision Raises $35M to Improve Safety of Smart Cities

Linker Vision has secured US$35 million in Series A funding to fuel the transition of AI from research labs to complex, real-world environments. The investment will accelerate the development of the company’s “Physical AI” and “Reasoning AI” to improve safety and automation in complex environments like smart cities and industrial spaces.

The funding round was led by the Taiwanese manufacturing powerhouse Abico Group and included strategic participation from Nvidia, which recently joined a $20 billion xAI funding round.

The latest capital injection is a massive boost for the company’s mission to deploy “Physical AI” at scale. Its Physical AI analyzes thousands of live camera feeds at once to detect specific crises—like a car accident or an unexpected flood.

The Linker Vision system is already deployed in Kaohsiung, Taiwan, and is analyzing 30,000 camera streams every day. If it “catches” an accident on a major bridge, it doesn’t wait for a human to report it; it immediately assesses the severity, alerts first responders, and coordinates with city traffic lights to clear a path for emergency vehicles—reducing response times by 80%.
