Roon, a provider of a digital care navigation platform, raised $15 million in Series A funding.
FirstMark Capital and Forerunner Ventures co-led the investment round with participation from early investors, including TMV and Sequoia Capital.
Roon provides medically vetted information and support for individuals navigating complex health conditions through its platform. Its platform also offers resources on topics including fertility and family building, dementia, ALS, and glioblastoma multiforme. Users can access expert medical information and connect with others experiencing similar health journeys.
With fresh funds, Roon plans to expand its platform to cover a range of health conditions, including critical areas like women’s health, cancer, neurology, metabolic health, and pediatrics.
Currently, Roon partners with physicians from over 50 renowned institutions, including Harvard, Stanford, UCSF, Weill Cornell, and Columbia, to scale their expertise and reach people far beyond the clinic.
